Physical Design Engineer (Praha, Brno)

You will have the opportunity to work on the true ultra-low power designs.

As part of our digital/mixed-signal design team, you would be responsible for:

  • definition of the physical constraints of implemented block
  • update and correction of timing constraints (provide feedback to designers)
  • floorplan construction, power plan creation, logic placement
  • clock tree synthesis, routing optimization
  • timing optimization and static timing analysis
  • power consumption and IR drop analysis
  • physical verification (DRC, LVS)
  • Engineering Change Orders (ECO) implementation

We have following requirements for this position:

  • experience of all IC place & route steps from floorplanning to physical verification
  • experience of Static Timing Analysis (STA)
  • experience with multi-level domain digital design (UPF definition)
  • knowledge of TCL or Perl/Pyhton scripting
  • visa and residence permit in the Czech Republic for the purpose of employment
  • written and spoken English

Education:

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is the minimum education

Having following knowledge and experience would be a plus:

  • logic synthesis
  • formal verification
  • experience with technology nodes <55nm
  • communication and organizational skills, open-minded
  • communication (read/write/speak) in French
